One of the things you learn whenever you go to school is how much you actually don’t know. I’ve spent thousands of hours reading novels for school and pleasure during my lifetime, but there is so much I haven’t read. The wonderful thing about books is that there are new ones being written every day. If I spent the rest of my lifetime just reading the books published that came out today in English, I probably would never make it to the end. As wonderful as having a never-ending pile of books to read is, it can be a little discouraging, too.
