The Special Education Department at Lamesa ISD services many different students across our school district. Our goal is to be an advocate for the students who cannot always advocate for themselves. Services for students receiving Special Education are provided in the student’s “Least Restrictive Environment (LRE)”. This means that we provide a Continuum of Special Education Services for students on an individual basis through the Admission / Review / Dismissal (ARD) process.
