I have been traveling up and down the highways of America every since I got my driver’s license in 1976.Back in those days, the speed limit had been lowered to 55 mph and most interstates went between two states (unlike I-27), small towns were not completely bypassed and billboards were a common means of advertising. Even today, billboards can be found throughout the country side but mainly now on interstates.
