The Latin term Caveat Emptor roughly translated means “buyer beware.” In my book “It’s the Customer, Stupid!” (John Wiley & Sons), I had the gall to suggest that the customer is not always right. No, that does not translate to… “Your money back… but only if we feel like it.”
Unfortunately, that is a presumption on the part of many businesses today. They will continue to get away with it if they go unchecked. Are their exceptions to that rule?
