Dear Editor Editor, T he back-so-school giveaway this past Saturday was a big success, with 129 families coming to the giveaway. They brought 313 children. Every child received a new pair of jeans, a shirt, one pair of socks and underwear. They also received a bag of school supplies for their grade and a bag of hygiene supplies, some of which they are required to take to school. The parents were very thankful, the kids were all smiles, and as they went out the door the Gideons gave each child a New Testament bible. They also got used clothing if they wanted them. Many ...
