Courthouse closes one day after employee COVID case
ANDREWS - An employee at the courthouse tested positive for COVID-19 this week, prompting the closure of the facility on Wednesday, according to Andrews County Judge Charlie Falcon.
The county judge also said “we do have some employees isolated” after the one worker tested positive with the virus. In such cases where fellow workers had close contact with the individual, the standard practice is for them to selfisolate for a period as a precautionary measure, according to public health officials.
County officials didn’t say whether any of the other employees had been tested.
