High school football and volleyball practices for the 2023 seasons won’t crank up until the last day of July but a couple of area head coaches will be picking up their whistles this week.
After finishing their softball in the regional finals for the first time in school history, Lamesa High School’s strong one-two punch of pitcher Laila Vasquez and catcher Amaya Vasquez were reunited on the diamond with their coaches Vanessa Hernandez and Jeremy Hernandez this past weekend.
