Dawson’s high school girls basketball team fell just short of making it two straight in the win column Tuesday evening at Welch. They fell to Odessa’s Holy Cross, 25-24.
A tough start and an even a tougher ending derailed O’Donnell’s girls basketball team Tuesday evening at New Deal. The Lady Lions held off the Eagles, 41-32.
The Borden County Coyotes had little trouble taking the first step into the Division I state, six-man football playoffs, breezing past the Ira Bulldogs, 48-0, last Friday night at Sands High School at Ackerly. The game stopped in the fourth quarter on the 45-point mercy rule.
