After watching his O’Donnell Eagles drop their Division I District 6A six-man football opener last weekend to top-ranked Borden County, Coach Fernando Baeza is underlining the importance of Friday’s game against Grady.
“We’ve been putting a big emphasis on our guys in practice this week how we really haven’t beaten anybody yet that we weren’t really supposed to this season,” Baeza said.
Friday night’s other six-man football games involving area schools find 6-0 Borden County at 0-7 Sands at Ackerly and 5-1 Klondike hosting 4-2 Loraine in a non-district game.
