The Golden Tornado volleyballers are now less than a week away from cranking up district play, and Lamesa Coach Skye Torres believes her troops are ready for the biggest five weeks of their season.
Lamesa’s seventh grade A volleyball team is now 5-2 on the season, but it had to go the distance Monday evening at Odessa Compass Academy, where the Whirlwinds went three sets before bringing home the 13-26, 25-6 ,and 26-24 match victory.
