Dear Lamesa Middle School Teachers, Staff, Students, Families, and Community Members, I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. This time of year is the perfect time to stop and reflect on all the things we are thankful for this season. It is with a heart full of gratitude that I write to express our profound appreciation for each and every one of you who makes up the vibrant Lamesa Middle School community.
Taking the field last Saturday against two-time defending Division I state six-man champion, Westbrook, was tough. The Borden County Coyotes couldn’t help but feel like their own worst enemy. They fell to the Wildcats, 11065, with the game stopped with 4:46 remaining in the fourth quarter on six-man’s 45-point mercy rule.
