Dawson County commissioners are holding off on a policy change from the Office of Court Administration (OCA) until they get clarification about it.

Lamesa Middle School’s sixth grade band earned a Division 1, a Superior rating, in Concert and Sight Reading performance Wednesday at the Abernathy Band Music Festival. Students have been working on their music since February for this contest. The festival was their first band contest in front of judges.
