William J. "Bill" Flores
A Catholic funeral mass service of Christian burial for William J. “Bill” Flores, age 84, of Lamesa will held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday June 13, 2020 with limited gathering at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Father Joseph Kurumbel and Father Jonathan Phillips will officiate with the assistance of Deacon Daniel Valenzuela and Deacon Saul Hernandez.
Burial committal will follow to the City of Levelland Cemetery in Levelland, TX.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.

Bill passed away on Thursday June 11, 2020 at his home in Lamesa surrounded by his family.
He was born on November 19, 1935 in Cotula, TX. Bill married Juanita “Janie” Guajardo on March 5, 1960 in Lubbock, TX.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, Alfredo Flores and his mother, Apolonia Johnson; daughter, Florentina “Flo” Mendez; daughter-in-law, Linda Flores; brother, Pete Flores.
Bill loved spending any time with his precious family. Bill loved reminiscing on old memories and sharing talks and laughter over a good cup of coffee. He was a member the Catholic church, Los Crusillitas, and the Knights of Columbus.
Bill is survived by his family, his wife, Janie Flores of Lamesa; daughters, Laurie Gutierrez of Lamesa, Ofelia Flores of Huntsville, TX., and Corrina Lawrence and husband Larry of Huntsville, TX.; sons, Bill Flores and wife Sylvia of Lubbock, TX., Andrew Flores of Lamesa, and Mark Flores and wife Patti of Midland, TX.; step-mother, Lupe Flores of Taylor, TX.; brothers, Oscar Flores of Houston, TX., Johnny Flores of Bryan, TX., Paul Flores of Smyer, TX., Nacho Flores of San Antonio, TX., Alfredo Flores, Jr. of Levelland, TX.; sisters, Dolores Guerrero of Levelland, TX., Amelia Guthrie of Adrian, Michigan, Mary Honesto of Morton, TX., Emma Castillo of Adrian, Michigan, Beatrice Flores of San Antonio, TX., Monica Olmeda of San Antonio, TX., Leticia Perez of Hutto, TX., and Angie Sauceda of Taylor, TX.; 24 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren; numerous relatives and friends.
