    Graveside services for Willard Willie Wilson, will be held Friday, September 22, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in Lovington, New Mexico at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home, Lamesa, Texas.  
    Willard Willie Wilson age 81 of Lamesa departed this life Monday, September 18, 2023 to be with his two daughters, Misti Dawn Wilson and Terri Lynn Wilson DeSheran, into his mother Willie Mae Steele Wilson and father, Willard Wilson, Sr.
    Willard was born December 07, 1941, in Idabel Oklahoma. He married Dorothy Bryant on August 10, 1964, in Lovington, New Mexico. They were married 59 years.  He worked in the oil field industry for many years.  He loved joking around, and his passion was fishing.  Willard enjoyed spending time with his family and will be missed. 
    He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Wilson of Lamesa; children, Tina Allen of Washington, Regina Wilkinson of Mentone, Texas, Wayne Wilson of Gail, Texas, and Foston Wilson of Germany; sister, Betty Pulte of Tool, Texas; twelve grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
    Willard is preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Misti Dawn Wilson and Terri Lynn Wilson DeSheran; and three siblings.
