Wayne Sires

    Wayne Glen Sires, 79, was born April 5, 1940 in Lamesa, Texas and passed on December 21, 2019 in Rosebud, Texas. 
    Wayne was born to Howard and Carmen Sires, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Joy Martin. 
    He is survived by four children, Rick Sires of San Angelo, Nick Sires of Temple, Mike Sires and Angela Friar, both of Lubbock. He had 15 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.
    He loved farming, ranching, and messing with horses. He dabbled in real-estate for a hobby. 
    Final resting place will be the Dawson County Cemetery.  A memorial is pending
