    Funeral services for Victoria R. Salazar age 74 of Lamesa, TX. will held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at the Faith of God in Christ Church with Tabitha Lumbreras with guest speaker Juan Vasquez officiating. Burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the trusted care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
    The viewing will be held at Gonzales Funeral Home on Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday, September 23, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. 
    Victoria R. Salazar passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024, in San Antonio, TX. She was born on August 1, 1950, in Lamesa, TX. Victoria married Miguel Salazar in 1978 in Lovington,
New Mexico.
    Victoria was preceded in death by her parents, father, Eduardo Rodriquez and mother, Dominga De La Cruz Rodriquez; her brothers, Victor Rodriquez, Vidal Rodriquez, and Felipe Rodriquez.
    Victoria loved going to church, planting her beautiful flowers, playing Bingo, and most of all, she loved her precious family.
    Victoria is survived by her husband, Miguel Salazar of Lamesa, TX.; her two sons, Luis Rodriquez (Brenda), and Marcus Salazar, all of Lamesa, TX.; her daughters, Mary Ann Ortiz of Austin, TX., Isabel Salazar (Roberto) of Lamesa, TX., Oralia Morales (Encarnacion) of Center Point, TX., Lucero Salazar of Kerrville, TX.; her sister, Maria Balderas (Manuel) of Lubbock, TX.;
her uncle, Chato Riojas of Yakima, WA; 16 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren; numerous relatives and friends.
    Honoring Victoria as her pallbearers are Hilario Ortiz, Jr., Michael Ray Ramirez, Ismael Salazar,
Gabriel Rodriguez, Ivan Rodriguez, Demitri Rodiguez, Thomas Morales, Emilio Morales, and Jeremyah Vela.
