Thelma Mae Moore

    Graveside services for Thelma Mae Moore, 98, of Lamesa, formerly of Dimmitt, Texas, will be held Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Castro Memorial Gardens in Dimmitt, Texas with Rush Coffman officiating. 
    Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. 
    Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home in Lamesa, Texas. 
    Thelma passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019 in Lamesa, Texas. 
    She was born April 25, 1921 to Willard Arthur and Bessie (Rose) Youts in Maude, Oklahoma. She married J.B. Moore November 5, 1938 in Silverton, Texas. They were married 62 years.
    She was a great seamstress, loved crafts and crocheting. She was a member of Second Baptist Church of Lamesa since 2004 and First Baptist Church of Dimmitt for most of her life.
    Thelma is survived by her children, Sammye Hughlett of Lamesa, Janis Williams of Mesa, Arizona and Larry Moore and wife, Gale of Altus, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 
    She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and five siblings.
