    Graveside service for Sylvia Ortiz, 52, will be held Monday, September 14, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Dawson County Cemetery. 
    Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. 
    Viewing will be held Monday, September 14, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home. 
    Sylvia passed away Friday, August 28, 2020. 
    She was born September 19, 1967 in Lamesa, Texas to Abundio and Juanita (Rodriguez) Ortiz.
    Sylvia is survived by her mother, Juanita Ortiz; children, Randy Barron, Ruben Barron and Alicia Barron; and granddaughter, Angel Cortez; and loving family. 
    She was preceded in death by her father; and a baby sister, Alice Ortiz.
