Sharon passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024, in Lubbock, TX. She was born to Van Bernice “Bunk” Smith and Geneva Adell (Emfinger) Smith. She attended Lubbock Christian University and Business School once she graduated from Lamesa High School. Sharon was a bookkeeper for Renner-Snell Law firm for 12 years. And then retired from the Texas Department of Transportation.
Sharon cherished the dear friendships and fond memories she shared with her Beta Sigma Phi sorority sisters and the times they spent together. Sharon loved driving along the countryside and was a true country girl. She was known to get in her car and drive miles and miles. She was an avid reader, loved old movies and a historian enthusiast.
“Grammy” as all her grandchildren called her affectionately, would enjoy playing card and board games while entertaining everyone with her great sense of humor. She would always incite the biggest laughs with her jokes even if they weren’t always the most appropriate.
