San Juana (Tia) Villasana

    San Juana (Tia) Villasana, born August 29, 1925 in Runge, Tx, gained her wings on July 24, 2023 at the age of 97.
    Tia was born to Cleofas and Leandra Villasana. She was the oldest of five children. Tia never married or had children of her own, but that was never an issue with her. She had plenty of nieces and nephews she helped care for and loved them all deeply. Although she loved us all, we all new Jacob was the apple of her eye. After all, she did help our mother Petra V. Campos raise him.
    She is preceded in death by her parents Cleofas and Leandra Villasana, her brothers Francisco and José Luis and her sister Petra V. Campos.
    She is survived by her brother Agapito Villasana from California and numerous nieces and nephews.
    Tia lived a full and blessed life with our family. She enjoyed our family gatherings and celebrations. She mostly enjoyed dancing. She would always be the first on the dance floor and always made it a point to dance with everyone. Tia will be missed by all.
    Visitation service was held at Templo Elim, 302 S. Ave. F, in Lamesa.
    A funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Friday, July 28 at Memory Garden Cemetery, 2215 N Price Rd. in Pampa, Tx.
