Ronald Glynn Brownlow
Ronald Glynn Brownlow, born on March 15th, 1952, in Lamesa, Texas, passed away July 18, 2024. He was the cherished firstborn of Glynn and Cleo Brownlow and spent his childhood on the family farm just west of O’Donnell, Texas, alongside his parents and his brother, Jimmy.
From a young age, Ronald was known for his love of baseball, spending countless hours on the field. His passion for the game was evident to all who knew him.
Ronald was a pumper in the oilfield for 22 years. He worked for various companies over the years. His work ethic and dedication were well-regarded by his colleagues, and he made many friends along the way.
Ronald had a deep appreciation for the great outdoors. Some of his happiest times were spent fishing in the stock tanks of West Texas and camping in the mountains of New Mexico. These trips were a source of joy and relaxation for him, and he cherished the serenity and beauty of nature. It was also discovered, after his passing, that he had a special connection to Sedona, Arizona—a place that brought him peace and perhaps a sense of adventure that his family never fully understood.
His life had its moments of joy and love. He was a man of many interests, and his stories, laughter, and even his struggles are all part of the tapestry of his life that we now hold in our hearts.
Ronald was preceded in death by his father Glynn Brownlow and is survived by his mother Cleo Brownlow of Mountain Home,Texas, brother Jimmy Brownlow of Lamesa, beloved sister Jennifer Walton (Ron) of Mountain Home Texas, sons Bryan Brownlow (Danna), and Dustin (Sharlene), 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Rest in peace, Ronald. You will be remembered.
