Robert Marden Kral
Robert Marden Kral, known to all as Bob, passed away at his home in Corsicana on December 6, 2024 from complications of congestive heart failure. Bob was born June 17, 1929 in Sweetwater, Texas. The youngest of 11 children, he grew up on the family farm near Longworth in Fisher County. A graduate of Sweetwater High School, he attended Texas Tech where he earned a degree in agronomy. In 1953, he was activated into the Air Force at Carswell Air Force Base in Fort Worth, where he served as a First Lieutenant. In 1954, he married Willa
Faris. After his discharge from the Air Force in 1955, he joined the Soil Conservation Service, where he spent most of his career, serving in Littlefield, Crosbyton, Lamesa, and Corsicana.
Bob was a wonderful father and husband, and was devoted to his entire family, keeping in touch with all through the years. He was a steadfast friend to many people as well. He will be
profoundly missed.
He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters and his son Lee. He is survived by his wife, Willa Kral, his daughter Jeanette Gordon, his son Robin Kral (Robert Jr.) and daughter-in-
law Rachel Kral, brother and sister-in-law, Pat and Julie Faris, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Bob’s wishes, no funeral is planned.
