Ricky Trevino

    Memorial service for Richard Ray “Ricky” Trevino, 52, of Lamesa will be held Friday, February 4, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Lamesa Christian Fellowship with Pastor Gwen Aldridge officiating. 
    Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home.
    Ricky passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022, in Artesia, New Mexico.
    He was born April 20, 1969 in Lamesa, Texas to Ruben Trevino and Angelita Castillo Trevino.  He married Linda Garcia October 14, 1998. They were married 23 years. He worked many years in the oil field industry. 
    Ricky always had a smile on his face and was known to give his shirt of his back for those in need.  He loved making everyone laugh and telling jokes.
    Ricky is survived by his wife, Linda Trevino of Lamesa; daughter, Cegi Vasquez and husband, Donnie of Lamesa; son, Ryan Salazar; two grandchildren, Rylee Casarez and Kyelen Vasquez; brother, Ruben Trevino and wife, Sandy of Lamesa; sisters, Stella Rodriguez and husband, Ralph of Artesia, New Mexico; Liz Humphreys of Lamesa; and Deeanna Salazar and husband, Ray of Lamesa. 
    He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Evlia Perez; brother, Randy Trevino; and grandson Jai Casarez.
