Randolph “Randy” Norris

    A Celebration of Life for Randolph “Randy” Norris, 80, of Lamesa, TX., will be held November 13, 2023 for his family and close friends at First Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home.
    Randy passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023 in Lamesa, TX. with his loving wife by his side. He was born December 12, 1942 in Brownfield, TX. to Cleburn and Bertie Lou (Wilson) Norris. Randy married Beverly Upham in Odessa, Texas on December 21, 1974, they were married for 48 years.
    Randy enjoyed showing his quarter horses and won multiple horse shows and even qualified for the world numerous times. Most importantly, he took great joy in all of his children and grandchildren’s life events including all sporting and academic events. They were the light of his life and they will miss him dearly.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleburn and Bertie Lou; and brother Rudy Jones.
    Randy is survived by his wife Beverly Norris of Lamesa, TX.; children, Tom Norris (Teresa) of Slaton, TX., Tiffany Tijerina (Andrew) of Andrews, TX., Shelley Taylor (Derrick) of Manvel, TX., and Kendra Norris of Lamesa, TX.; 6 grandchildren; and sister, Joyce Swaim of Lamesa, TX.
