Peggy Beck

    Graveside services for Peggy Beck, 86, of Lamesa, will be held Saturday, August 10, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., at Dawson County Cemetery with Bo Jackson officiating.
    Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. 
    Peggy passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2019, in Tahoka, Texas. 
    She was born July 13, 1933 in Lamesa, Texas to William Granville and Annie Lee (Truitt) Phillips. She married Jerry Beck in Lamesa in 1960. They were married 59 years. 
    She worked in the copper mines for several years. She loved drawing and painting. She was a lifetime member of VFW. 
    Peggy is survived by her children; Kaye Beck of Big Spring, Phil Beck and Kenny Beck both of Plains; sister, Marita Jackson of Post; numerous grandkids and great grandkids. 
    She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Beck; daughter, Jerri Faye Beck; parents; and 7 siblings.
