Pansy Jackson

    Graveside service for Pansy Mae Jackson, aged 94, of Lamesa will be held Monday, August 24, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Dawson County Cemetery in Lamesa, Texas with J. Kinnison officiating.
    Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. 
    Pansy passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020 in Lamesa, Texas. 
    She was born January 2, 1926 to Cecil and Amber (Holt) Martin in Cushing, Oklahoma. She was married to C.A. Price and he then preceded her in death in 1984. She married Dean Jackson April 19, 1997 in Lamesa. They were married 23 years. 
    Pansy owned and operated resale shops in Lamesa and Amarillo. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church. 
    Pansy is survived her husband Dean Jackson of Lamesa; children, Sharon Kay Jones and husband, Reggie of Princeton TX and Janet Lanell Cairns and husband, Brian of Cedar Park,TX; grandchildren, Tammy Mazzon, Martie Sires, Kelly Vaughan, Kathy Sires, Damon Vaughan and Jacquline McCoy; and 15 great grandchildren. 
    She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, JoDean Thomason, Elroy Martin and Ronnie Martin.
