Ozella Qualls

Funeral services for Lela Ozella McKinney Qualls, 90, of Odessa, formerly of Lamesa will be held Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Braswell officiating.  
Interment will follow in Dawson County Cemetery under the direction of Branon Funeral Home.  
Ozella was born August 25, 1929 in Rains County, Texas to Isaac and Vera (Oler) McKinney.  She married Clyde Qualls August 2, 1946 in Lamesa.  He preceded her in death in 1990.  
Ozella was a devout and dedicated member of First Christian Church.  She loved caring for her church family and friends.  Some may remember her as substitute teacher for Mrs. Pratt.  
She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Gibson and husband, Jay of Odessa; sister-in-law, Susan Wells of Denver; nephew, Ron McKinney of Denver; and her caregiver, Irma Munoz.
Ozella is also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Nancy Hamilton; brother, Ike McKinney; and infant brother, James McKinney.
