Nicholas (Nick) Marmolejo

    Chapel funeral services for Nicholas ( Nick ) Marmolejo, age 61, of Lamesa, will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Geno Salazar officiating. 
    Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
    Viewing will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019, starting at 1:00 p.m., at Gonzales Funeral Home. 
    Nick passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019 in Lamesa. He was born on July 23, 1957 in Lamesa. 
    He was preceded in death by his father, Rufino Marmolejo Sr.; his brother, Rufino Marmolejo Jr.; and his niece, Monica Marmolejo.
    Nick loved sports, was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, had a great sense of humor. Nick loved everyone. He was a very loving family man.
    Survivors include, his daughters, Sophia Marmolejo of Midland, Texas and Santana Marmolejo of Lamesa; his son, Troy Marmolejo of Lamesa; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; his mother, Hilaria Marmolejo of Lamesa; his sisters, Lydia Torres of Clovis, New Mexico, Linda Martinez of Hobbs, New Mexico, Esther Gonzales and Nelda Ramirez, both of Lamesa; his brothers, David Marmolejo and Raul Marmolejo, both of Lamesa; and several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
