Nell Beatty
Private graveside service for Nell Beatty, 92, of Lamesa will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Dawson County Cemetery with Dwaine Brown officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home.
Nell passed away on Monday, November 30, 2020 in Seminole, Texas.
She was born on August 25, 1928 in Mt. Vernon, Texas to Seaborn King and Victoria Lee (Perrin) Turner. She married Floyd “Buddy” Beatty October 1, 1949 in Lamesa. Before she married, she worked at Wright Drug. She was a homemaker for many years while raising her family. She worked for S&H Green Stamp Store and Photo Shop until retiring. She was a member of Church of Christ.
She loved spending time and playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed fishing and spending time with her sisters and families.
Survivors include her daughters, Marsha Jeffcoat of Slaton, Patti Wolford and her partner, Shannon Brooks of Lamesa, and Kelli Archer and husband, Richard of Lamesa; grandchildren, Cameron Jeffcoat and wife Mishel of Lubbock, Krissi Sanchez and husband, Michael of Royse City, Miranda Wolford and husband, Ethan Czarnecki of Maine, Tyler Archer and wife, Casie of Lamesa, and Lindsey Archer of Fort Worth; sisters, Patsy Wilson of Lubbock and Syble Hargrove of Burnett; great grandchildren, Jaidyn, Mikah, Kyrsten, Kelton, Kaylee, Gracie, Cooper, Rylon, Cohen, and Hadley.
She is preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Lillian McLendon, Ruth Harrison, Hazel Smith and JoDell Larson; and grandson, Justin Floyd Wolford.
