Nelda Holt

    Nelda F. Holt, 91, of Oxnard, CA, peacefully departed her loving family on September 27, 2021.
    Nelda was born May 6, 1930 in Lamesa, Texas and had been a resident of Oxnard since 1958. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend.
    Nelda was blessed to be a homemaker while her husband worked for extended periods of time in the oil field up until his retirement. She had a passion for playing Bingo and rooting for her favorite baseball team, the Los Angeles Dodgers. Her kind heart and beautiful smile will be greatly missed.
    Nelda was preceded in death by her husband Garvin; sister, Melba and brother, Leslie. 
    She is survived by her three children, Gary (wife Brandy) Holt; Stacy (husband Raul) Ortiz, and Tracy (wife Carol Ann) Holt; grandchildren: Danielle, Nichole, Ian, Aidan, Kimberly, Raul (Bubba), Eric, Julian, Cheyenne, Joshua, Heath, Carly, twelve great-grandchildren; and sisters, Martha (husband Don) Rebber and Margaret Frazier.
    Funeral services for Nelda will be held at the Conejo Mountain Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 2052 Howard Road, Camarillo, CA 93012 on Monday, October 11, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Hills with burial to follow.
