Mozelle Sanders

    Graveside service for Mozelle Sanders, 89, of Lamesa will be held Monday, June 1, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Dawson County Cemetery with Kendall Meek officiating. 
    Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. 
    She passed away May 27, 2020 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loved ones. 
    Mozelle was born in Borden County to Thomas Efford and Cora Lee (Willis) Martin. She married Buford Sanders December 7, 1952 in Lamesa. They were married 61 years. 
    She was a member of the Medical Arts Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening and loved baking. She was loving and caring to all she encountered. 
    She is survived her children, Jerry Wayne Sanders and wife, Leslie of Wisconsin, Deborah Drummond and husband, Gary of Iowa Park, and Martin Sanders and wife, Lawanda of Lamesa; grandchildren, Samuel Sanders, Charity Girard- Sanders, Abigail Davidson, Rob Nichols, Tim Nichols, Steelie Sanders, and Rexie Sanders; and eight great-grandchildren.
    Mozelle is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Buford Sanders; one sister and four brothers.
