    Funeral services for Monica Linda Rodriquez, age 45, of Lamesa, TX., will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jerry Gardner officiating.  Burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery.
    Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.  Face masks and social distancing are required at the funeral home and cemetery.
    Live streaming of the service will be on Gonzales Funeral Home Facebook page.
    Viewing and visitation will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home. An Inspirational service with Matthew Hernandez will start at 7:00 p.m.
    Monica passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021 in Lubbock, TX. 
    She was born on April 12, 1975 in Lamesa, TX.
    She was preceded in death by her father, Luis Rodriquez; her brothers, Jose Luis Rodriquez, and Jose Manuel Rodriguez.
Monica loved baking goods and spending time with her family. She enjoyed spoiling her nephews and nieces.
    Monica is survived by her mother, Janie Jackson and her step-father, Corndus Jackson of Lamesa, TX; her sisters, Erica Rodriquez and her brother-in-law, Julio Cortez, and Manuela Rodriquez, all of Lamesa, TX.; her brother, Joseph Rodriquez, her step-brother, Trey Jackson of Lubbock, TX.; her brother-in-law, Chris Vargas of Lamesa, TX; 7 nephews, 6 nieces, 3 great-nephews, 5 great-nieces; a host of relatives and friends.
    Pallbearers: Christopher Vargas, Julio Cortez, Jr., Joby Rodriquez, Joseph Rodriquez, Trey Jackson, Sunny Canales.
