    Graveside services for Michele Rai Smith, 42, of Lamesa will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Dawson County Cemetery with Daniel Reese officiating. 
    Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. 
    Visitation will be held Monday, November 4, 2019 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home in Lamesa, Texas. 
    Michele passed away Friday, November 1, 2019 in Lamesa, Texas. 
    She was born March 21, 1977 to Louis Bice and Vicki Buchanan in Plainview, Texas. She married Jeremy Tyson Smith September 12, 2003 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were married 16 years.
    She attended McMurry University for a couple years and then Texas Tech University. She was a floral designer and loved flowers. 
    Michele is survived by her husband, Ty Smith of Lamesa; son, Jeremy Zane Smith and Sarah Aboud of College Station; mother, Vicki Bryant of Fort Worth; brothers, Richard Bice and Robert Bice; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dudley and Linda Smith of Lamesa; brother-in-law, Max Smith and wife, Jennifer of Lamesa; and sister-in-law, Michelle Smith of Midland.
    She is preceded in death by her father; brother, Leslie Bice; grandparents, Gerry and Bobby Don Buchanan and O’Dell and Laura Bice.
