Mary Jo Hilton

    Mary Jo Hilton of Littleton, Colorado passed away on the evening of February 8, 2021 at the age of 85.  
    She was born on April 30, 1935 at Gladewater, Texas, lived in the Patricia community near Lamesa, Texas and graduated from Lamesa High School.  She earned her BSBA in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver in 1974 and was involved in real estate investments during her lifetime. 
    Mary especially enjoyed camping and hiking in Colorado’s mountains.  Her hobbies included photography and reading thrillers written by Tom Clancy, Robert Ludlum and John Gresham.
    Mary is survived by her husband of 66 years, Gene, and son, Ron, of Evergreen, Colorado and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.  
    She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Verdie (McHenry) Gamblin, and her three sisters, Alta Bavousett, Jean Dennis and Betty Miller.
    Graveside service  will be held at Dawson County Cemetery Lamesa , Texas Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Dennis Adams officiating.
