    Funeral service for Mark Cantu Cervantes, age 44, of Lamesa will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Al Martin officiating. Burial will follow to Dawson County Cemetery.
    Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. 
    Inspirational Service will be held Friday, August 27, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home Chapel. Viewing will begin Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home Chapel. 
     Mark passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021, in Lubbock, Texas. 
    He was born May 31, 1977, in Lamesa, Texas to Dora Cantu.  He married Sandra Renteria July 22, 1998, in Lamesa, Texas. They were married 23 years.  
    He first and foremost loved the Lord and Savior and being a devoted Christian. What brought most joy to his heart was spending time with his family. Mark never missed a family gathering and enjoyed listening to music.
     Mark is survived by his wife, Sandra Cervantes of Lamesa; children, Kristi, J.D, and Damyan, all of Lamesa, Angel of San Angelo, and Robert III of Grand Junction, Colorado; sisters, Effie Hernandez and husband, Sammy, Rhonda Garza and husband, Arthur, and Kalija Beck and husband, Devin all of Lamesa; ten grandchildren; and various nieces and nephews.  
    He is preceded in death by his mother, Dora Cantu.
