Marcos Gonzales

    Funeral services for Marcos Gonzales, age 35, of Lamesa, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Juan Paiz officiating. 
    Interment will follow at Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
    Marcos passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in Lamesa. He was born on October 1, 1983 in Alice, Texas. 
    He was preceded in death by his father, Armando Z. Gonzales Sr.; and his sister, Melinda Gonzales.
    Marcos loved to sing, cook, and be with family and friends. He enjoyed sports and loved his favorite teams, the Pittsburgh Steelers football team and the San Antonio Spurs. 
    Marcos is survived by his loving family: his children, daughter Maci Gonzales, son Jayden Gonzales, and daughter Camrynn Gonzales, all of Aspermont, Texas, and son Marcos Gael Gonzales of Midland, Texas; his mother, Blanca Stella Gonzales of Lamesa; his sisters, Rebecca Ann Gonzales and Alex of Lamesa, Melissa Ann Paiz and husband, Juan, Paiz of El Paso, Texas, Victoria Ramirez and husband, Jesse Ramirez, of Lamesa, Texas; his brothers, Frank Gonzales and wife, Jaime Gonzales, of Lamesa, Texas, Arnoldo Gonzales and wife, Idalia Gonzales, of El Paso, Texas, Armando Gonzales Jr. of Lamesa, Texas, Reynaldo Gonzales and wife, Danielle Gonzales, of Lamesa, Texas; his former wife, Amanda Aten; 22 nephews and nieces; and several friends.
