It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lequisha, a radiate light in our lives who left us too soon
on December 5, 2024, in Lubbock, TX., at the age of 36. She was born on August 31, 1988, in Hobbs, NM. She was a resident of Seminole, TX. She was known for her love and support for her family and determination to live life and live it to its fullest.
Lequisha truly knew that it was more blessed to give than to receive. Her generosity knew no bounds. She
was not only generous in life, but also in death as an organ donor.
Lequisha was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and a beautiful soul who would help anyone. She had an
uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She was the epitome of someone who loved life, and her radiant smile lit up any room she entered. Her infectious laughter, unwavering kindness and boundless spirit touched everyone she met.
She was strong-willed and stubborn, but those traits defined Lequisha. They were a part of who she was and her strength undoubtedly helped her deal with life’s challenges.
Some of her greatest joy came from her family. They created so many memories while enjoying trips as a
family to Hobbs, NM, Lamesa, TX., and Junction, TX.
She enjoyed dancing, reading, and listening to music. Music was her language, her solace, and her method
of connecting with the world. The soulful melody she brought into this world continues to reverberate even as she is no longer with us.
