    Funeral Services for Leonides Noel Ortiz, age 76, of O’Donnell, TX. will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel. 
    Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
    Viewing will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday at Gonzales Funeral Home. 
    Leonides passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2019 in O’Donnell, TX. 
    He was born on February 6, 1943 in Dilley, TX. Leonides married Jesusa Hernandez on October 5, 1983 in O’Donnell, TX.
    He was preceded in death his son, Oscar Ortiz; his sister, Griselda Sambrano; two brothers-in-law, Jaime Garcia and Perfecto Jaco.
    Leonides worked as a cotton ginner for the Dimpsey Gin for 35 years.
    Survivors includes, his wife, Jesusa Ortiz of O’Donnell, TX.; his sons, Antonio Hernandez, Felix Villanueva, Fabian Villanueva, and Robert Miller,  all of O’Donnell TX., Leonides Ortiz, Jr., Dimas Ortiz, Timmy Ortiz, and Johnny Ortiz, all of Dilley, TX.; his daughters, Stephanie Luna of O’Donnell, TX., Sophia Ortiz, Laura Ortiz, Rubina Ortiz, all of Dilley, TX., Elma Villanueva of Post, TX., Melissa Luna of Florida, Caroline Valadez of Georgetown, TX., daughter-in-law, Mitzi Ortiz of Dilley, TX.; brothers, Ramon Ortiz, Raul Ortiz, Roberto Ortiz, Alfonso Ortiz, Hilberto Ortiz, all of Dilley, TX.; sisters, Silvia Jaco of Albany, TX., Yolanda Garcia and Maria Ortiz, both of Dilley, TX.; brother-in-law, Jesus Sambrano of Dilley, TX.; twenty-nine grandchildren; numerous relatives and friends.
