Kathryn Rosta

    Spencer, TN – Mrs. Kathryn Ailene Adcock Rosta, 76, passed away Saturday July 27, 2019 at Signature Health of Putnam County. 
    She was born June 7, 1943 in Lamesa, TX to the late Vernon and Kathryn Graham Adcock. 
    Mrs. Rosta graduated from Lamesa High School in 1961, married the love of her life, the late Paul Rosta, in 1969 at Lamesa First Presbyterian Church.
    Kathryn worked several years as a lab researcher in the pharmaceutical industry in New Jersey and spent many years as a homemaker in Florida before settling in Tennessee.  She enjoyed the cultural arts, entertaining and traveling.  Kathryn spent time exploring the Western United States studying Native American cultures, often collecting books and purchasing jewelry from local tribes. 
    Kathryn loved spending time with family and friends especially her loving grandchildren, who called her “Leenie.”
    Mrs. Rosta is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; Kathryn and Matthew Bailey of Cookeville, grandchildren; Evan Paul Bailey and Colin Graham Bailey.
    Special friends and family also survive; Kathy Browne and family of New Jersey, Pat Aldrich and family of New Jersey, Marianne and Dave Cooley and family of Spring Hill, TN, special cousins; Mitzi Greene of Lamesa, TX and Nancy and Tom Koger and family of Big Springs, TX, along with several remaining cousins.  
    A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday Aug. 3, 2019 at 1:00pm in the Dodson/Beech Cove Cemetery on Beech Cove Road with Bro. Riley Rich officiating.
