Chapel funeral services for Juventino Jimenez age 80 of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday October 30, 2020 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with Father Chacko Thadathil officiating. Burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home. Due to area Covid-19 situations we continue with public safety. Facial mask are required at the funeral home.
Visitation and viewing will be held on Wednesday October 28, 2020 and Thursday October 29, 2020 at Gonzales Funeral Home with Rosary prayer services at 7:00 p.m. Father Rudy Crasta will recite the Rosary prayer service on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Juventino passed away on Saturday October 24, 2020 in Lamesa, TX. He was born on January 19, 1940 in Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Mexico. Juventino married Arlene Diaz on February 14, 2013 in Lamesa, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Filiberto and Florencia Jimenes. Juvetino was the last survivor of his two brothers and two sisters.
Juventino was a restaurant owner, entrepreneur, and had over 30 years of Cotton Gin operations. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Juventino was a “die hard fan” of the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team. He always had a smile together with a great sense of humor.
Juventino is survived by his wife, Arlene Jimenez of Lamesa, TX.; son, Isaac Diaz of Dallas, TX.; daughters, Maria Hunt and husband, Cole Hunt of Colima, Mexico, Betty Guel and Gloria Moreno and her husband Rick Moreno, all of Lamesa, TX., Yolanda Garcia and her husband Ernie Garcia, and Lorae Rodriguez and her husband, Miguel Rodriguez, all of Lubbock, TX.; son, Sergio Jimenez of Lubbock, TX.; 17 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren; numerous relatives and friends.
