    Funeral service for Josephine M. Rodriguez, 90, of Lamesa, were held on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home with Pastor David Boyd officiating. Burial will follow to Dawson County Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Branon Funeral Home. Viewing was on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home Chapel.
    Josephine passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2024, in Lamesa, Texas surrounded by her family. She was born December 26, 1933, in Howard County to Francisco Moncallo and Cruz (Florez) Moncallo. Josephine loved dancing, listening to music and drinking coffee with her friends. She enjoyed watching her novellas and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all.
    Josephine is survived by her husband, George C. Rodriguez; her children, Irene Rodriguez, George Rodriguez, Jr., Richard Rodriguez, Andy Rodriguez and wife, Irene A., and Elsa R. Sanchez; grandchildren, Myra E. Vera, Jason R. and Katie Sanchez, Michael J. and Krissi Sanchez, Andy and Anna Rodriguez Jr., Brian and Daisy Rodriguez, Javier Rodriguez and Derek Rodriguez; and ten great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her children, Rudy Rodriguez, Sandy Rodriguez and Esther Rodriguez; siblings, Trine F. Moncallo, Juan F. Moncallo and Jose F. Moncallo; and son in law Daniel Rodriguez.
