Johnny Key

    Graveside service for Johnny Key, 79, of Lamesa, will be held Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Dawson County Cemetery under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. 
    Johnny passed away Monday, November 1, 2021, in Lubbock, TX. 
    He was born November 26, 1941 in Lamesa, Texas to Harris Tandy “Son” and Anna Laura (Christian) Key. He married Grace Barron on September 4, 1959 at First Baptist Church in Lamesa.  They were married 62 years.
    Johnny is survived by his wife Grace Key of Slaton; daughters, Sheri Lana Shairrick of Lamesa, and Sharla Gayle Larson and husband Roy of Lubbock; grandchildren, Jamie and Amy Shairrick, Jason Shairrick, Jessica and Jeremy Gonzales, Kara and Kyle Vaughn and Troy Larson; great grandchildren, Jaiden Gonzales, Jillian Gonzales, Joli Vaughn and Bradilyn Vaughn.
    He is preceded in death by his parents.
