Jimmy Berry

    Funeral services for Jimmy Charles Berry, age 69, of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at the Lamesa Church of Christ where he was a faithful member.
    Interment will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. 
    Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
    Viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.at Gonzales Funeral Home with a family visitation hour from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. to receive relatives and friends.
    He was born on April 12, 1952 in Lamesa, Texas. Jimmy passed away peacefully at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas on Sunday, May 30, 2021. 
    He was preceded in death by his mother, Lue Ray Roberts (Alex), his father, Roosevelt Berry; and his sister, Ruby Ray Berry.
    Jimmy leaves behind his daughter, Tura Smith (Kevin) of Cleburne, Texas; two brothers, Earl Berry of California, and Harold Berry of Lamesa, along with his grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends to cherish his memories.
