Jijmmy Don Barron

    Graveside services for Jimmy Don Barron, 77, of Brownfield, Texas will be Thursday, March 11th at 10:30 a.m. at the Lamesa Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Bryan Pinkerton will be officiating. 
    Arrangements under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Brownfield, Texas.
    He was born July 28, 1943 in Lamesa, Texas to the late Spenser Reese Barron and Ernestine Sims Barron. He passed away on March 6, 2021 at his home in Brownfield.
    He graduated from Lamesa High School and was a member of Crestview Baptist Church. In 1963 he married Kayron Evelyn Hogg of Lamesa, Texas.
Jimmy was the owner/operator of North Cedar Rental Outlet in Brownfield.
    He is survived by his wife, Kayron; a son Liston Reese Barron and his wife Carrie of Spanaway, Washington; two daughters, Melissa Ann Barron of Lubbock and Erika Shae Barron of Brownfield; his brother Carroll Barron of Ohio; and a sister Ruby Dutton and her husband of Abilene, Texas.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Burl Barron; a sister Alice Joy Reid; and a great grandson Ethan Braziel.
    Visitation will be at Ratliff Funeral Home, Wednesday 6-7 P.M.
