Funeral services to celebrate the life of Jennifer Rebecca Duran age 31 of Lamesa, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 18, 2023, at the Second Baptist Church located at 1705 N. Bryan Avenue, Lamesa, TX., with officiating Ministers, Efrain Rios and Billy Montes. The burial will follow at the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
The viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, and Thursday, August 17, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home.
Jennifer passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023, in Lamesa, TX. She was born April 25, 1992, in Lubbock, TX.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her grandfather, Miguel Duran; her grandmother, Rebecca Ornelas; her great-grandparents, Manuel and Frances Hernandez, Conrad Duran, Sr. and Concha Duran.
Jennifer loved spending precious time with her children and family. She worked for McDonald’s, where she had recently been promoted to store manager.
Jennifer is survived by her children, daughters, Ariyana Tello, Naomi Tello, Heaven’Lleigh Duran, all of Lamesa, TX.; her sons, Orlando Tello, Jr., and Frankie Tello, both of Lamesa, TX.; her mother, Monica Vidales, and her step-father, Gregorio Vidales of Lamesa, TX.; her father, Jorge Ornelas, and her step-mother, Beatrice Ornelas of Littlefield, TX.; her grandmother, Pauline Duran of Littlefield, TX., and her grandfather, Vicente Ornelas of San Antonio, TX.; her step-siblings, Gregorio Vidales, Jr., Victoria Vidales, and Ashely Vidales, all of Lubbock, TX., Mathew Campos of Belton, TX., Bobbie Jo Mansker of Slaton, TX., Justin Salazar, Carlos Garcia, Clara Garcia, Christopher Garcia, and Cassandra Garcia, all of Littlefield, TX.; several relatives and friends.
Honoring Jennifer as her pallbearers are Ryan Duran, Christopher Duran, Valentino Duran, Isaac Rios, Dezerae Ornelas, Sarah Torres, Anissa Ornelas, and Clara Garcia.
