Jean Lee

    Graveside services for Jean Lee, 90, of Lamesa, Texas was held Monday, November 6, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Dawson County Cemetery with Pastor Keith Clower and Pastor Lee Lennon officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 5, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home.
    Jean Lee went to be with the LORD and savior the morning of November 3, 2023, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born March 12, 1933, in San Angelo, Texas to David Mansfield Holsenbeck and Sarah Estelle (Taylor) Holsenbeck. She married M.C. Lee July 25, 1952, in Lovington, New Mexico. They were married 71 years.
    Jean enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and serving others. She was the head of the food committee at Crestview Baptist Church for many years. Jean loved giving her time to help the Lamesa De Dios Emmaus and was a faithful member of Crestview Baptist Church in Lamesa.
    Jean is survived by her husband, M.C. Lee; son, Ricky Lee; grandchildren, Jared and wife Reba Lee, Chase and wife Zulmarie Lee, Shaina Lasater, Nikki Madron and Trevor Lee; great grandchildren, Michael, Odessa, MC and Loretta Lee; niece, Trish, and husband Tommy Coulter; and great nephew, Sebastian Coulter. Jean is preceded in death by her parents; son, Mike Lee and daughter, Ann Lee; siblings, Christine Medelin, LaVerne Meeks, Juanita McGuire, Mae Cotel and Leon Holsenbeck.
