Jay Gray

    Funeral services for Jay Gray, 58, of Lamesa, will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., at Branon Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gwen Aldridge officiating. 
    Interment will follow in Dawson County Cemetery under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. 
    Jay passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019 in Lamesa. He was born on June 16, 1960 in Lamesa to John and Mary Jane (Haggerton) Gray. 
    Jay drove trucks with his dad for Werner Enterprises. He loved sharing his trucking adventures and watching animated movies. 
    He is survived by his mother, Mary Gray of Lamesa; sister, Kathryn Ann Cobb of Michigan; and aunts, Dena Reynolds and husband, Brad, of Fredrick, Oklahoma and Margaret Carson and husband, Clarence, of Witter, Arkansas; and uncle, Don Lee Bullard and wife, Helen of Santa Fe, Texas. 
    He is preceded in death by his father, John Gray.
