Jane Garza
Services for LudiJena “Jane” Garza, age 60, of Lamesa will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Chacko Thadathil officiating.
Burial will follow at the Dawson County Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
A Rosary service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Gonzales Funeral Home.
Jane died Tuesday, Nov. 8, in a Lubbock hospital.
She was born March 17, 1962 in Lamesa. She married Adam Garza on Aug. 1, 1980 in Lamesa.
Jane was the sweetest, most generous and most caring person. She never hesitated to lend a helping hand. If you ever needed her, she was always there!
She was a member of St. Margaret Mary and Guadalupe Catholic Chruch. Jand was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and Tia to numerous nieces and nephews. She was a great friend to many in the community. She loved to cook and plan many events for her family. Jane loved making memories with her family. She loved spending time outdoors at the rivers and lakes. She loved listening to music, especially when her husband played his guitar for her. The BEST ties of her life were with her beautiful grandchildren.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro Barrioz, Sr. and Amelia Barrioz; and siblings, MaryLou Hernandez, Pedro Barrioz, Jr., and Raymond Barrioz.
Surviors include her husband, Adam Garza, Sr., sons, Adam Garza Jr., and wife, Reyna, of Lamesa, and Alejandro Garza and wife, Jade, of Lubbock; sisters, Ylolanda Lopez and husband, Mario, Alicia McKnight and husband, Randy, Elizabeth “Chavela” Barrioz and husband, Gilbert Molina, all of Lamea; and Marivel Medina and husband, Juan, of Kerrville; and half-brother Pete Barrioz and wife, Mary, of San Antonio. She also is survived by three grandchildren, Abel, Rico and Annalisa, and three grand-dogs.
