Jack Wright

    Jack Wright, a longtime proud resident of Lamesa, TX, passed on October 8, 2021.  
    Jack was a man for all seasons and lived life to the fullest.  He is survived by 
his two sons Will and Matt Wright and their families; Morgan and John Wright the grand children of his predeceased son Clayton; his brother Mike Wright; and sister Jolene.
    Jack was born June 29th, 1937 in Perryton Texas and grew up farming and raising cattle.  He was a graduate of Perryton High School and Texas Tech. Jack married the love of his life Diane Liles while attending Texas Tech and the two lived happily together for over 50 years.  
    He experienced several different professions during his life including teaching at Lamesa High School during the 1970’s.
    Jack was a proud father and enjoyed coaching his three sons in baseball, football, and tennis.  He was an all around generous and good man, always reaching out to help family and friends.
    Services will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 1305 N Avenue G, Lamesa, TX 79331 on Saturday November 6th - 11:00am
