    Catholic graveside funeral services for Hilda R. (Belia) Deluna, age 83, of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at the Dawson County Cemetery with Fr. Chacko Thadathil officiating. 
    Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
    Hilda passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021 in Lamesa, TX. 
    She was born on January 8, 1938 in Agujita, Coahuila, Mexico. Hilda married Francisco Deluna Villa on May 18, 1966 in Sabinas, Coahuila, Mexico.
    Family and friends will gather at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Gonzales Funeral Home and follow in funeral procession to the cemetery.
    Hilda was preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Deluna Villa; parents, Jesus Rivera and Maria Menchaca; and brothers, Raul Rivera, and David Rivera.
    Belia, as she was known to family and friends, was an amazing person. She was always concerned for her neighbors by checking up on them, or on the phone calling family making sure everyone was doing well. Belia was very humble and kind; everyone loved her very much.
    Hilda is survived by her Lamesa friends who considered her as “Our little Mama”: Sergio and Jessica Mejia, Jake Samaniego, Maribel Mejia, Teresa Mejia, Miguel Mejia, and Marco Mejia; Manuel, Manuel Rivera, Jr., and life long friends, Manuel Rivera, Sr. and Lupe Rivera; her brothers, Jesus Rivera, and Daniel Rivera, both of Sabinas, Coahuila, Mexico, and Josue Rivera of San Antonio, TX.; nephew, Josue Rivera, Jr. of San Antonio, TX.; sister-in-law, Amalia Deluna Villa of Sabinas, Coahuila, Mexico; several relatives and friends.
